Michelle Fettner
Michelle joined Rubin Law in 2023 as a Paralegal with over 20 years previous legal experience, mainly as an estate plan paralegal, but also with a background in construction law and general litigation. Having worked in estate planning for over a decade, Michelle is familiar with every step of this process, from execution of Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and health care directives to Guardianship and Probate matters.

Brian Rubin’s wife, joined Rubin Law as a legal assistant in 2001. Linda, as Mitch’s Mom, offers an experienced point of view as someone who has lived through all the trials & tribulations that fellow families of individuals with special needs weather.

Vasiliki Chronopoulos
Vasiliki “Vaso” joined Rubin Law in 2024 as a Legal Assistant. As a parent of a child with special needs, she has dedicated herself to learning about resources to support her child’s development. Along the way, she has become highly knowledgeable about Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and now volunteers to help other parents advocate for their children.

Jessica ‘Jess’ Thompson joined the firm in 2025 as a Legal Assistant. Driven by a passion for advocacy, she is committed to bringing her knowledge as a special needs parent to the customer service of the law firm. In addition, she has an extensive background in family law and special education while pursuing her master’s degree in teaching.

Mitchell Rubin
Brian and Linda’s son, who has autism – among other diagnosed special needs, also works at Rubin Law one day a week, shredding documents, greeting clients and completing other assigned tasks.
In memory of Nicole Rosenthal
Instead of flowers, contributions can be made to Clearbrook in memory of Nicole Rosenthal, the sister of Clearbrook resident Mitchell Rubin. Clearbrook serves over 8,000 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Nicole’s brother Mitchell.
